I fell asleep during the comercial in the last 15 minutes and didn't see how Janet and Mary Beth allocated the money. Does anyone know? Thanks,

MaryBeth had Janet's family split the money evenly. I believe she told the husband to use his share for a down payment on a car (his car had over 200K miles). She wanted the oldest son to spend his money on either a tatoo or a piercing course. She wanted the other kids to use the money for their education, I think, but they each got a specific amount to use as fun money. Janet was instructed to use her share to take the family to Hawaii. Janet was not happy.

Janet told MaryBeth's family that each child could have, I think, $1000 to spend on themselves and the rest of the money to use for whatever the family needed. I think that's right.

That is such an odd show. :)

And boy, was Janet PiSSED!! She did NOT want to share the money with her kids. She said they had enought & didn't need anything else and that SHE (Janet) deserved a "little treat". :rotfl2:

Mary Beth really did seem to "reach" Janet's oldest boy. I think he's planning on keeping in tough with her.

Janet is a nutcase.
I wonder how she thought "she came across" when she watched the show last night?

I'm sure she'll say it was the editing. :rotfl2: She was a fruitcake! Hoping the kids didn't cry when she left. Hello???? They really don't like you. You told them their house was haunted.

MaryBeth was very good for Janet's family. Especially Brian. I felt so badly for him when she left.

Janet was VERY selfish- wanting all the money for herself.... no wonder the kids weren't too happy to see her (except for the other son, who seemed to be the favorite.)

OMG! She was such a nutcase and downright mean. I felt so bad for her kids. How 'bout that none of them wanted to go out to dinner with her even though she had just came home. :earseek:

I caught the last 5 mins of the show and couldn't believe that her own family didn't want to go to dinner with her!

I was sure they would cry when she left..........cries of joy!! lol
A few times I though she cant really be like this it must be joke but by the looks of her family it was no joke. I thought her oldest ds seemed like a really good kid. He didnt have so many tatoo's or piercings that he looked like a freak. Kids are not going to like everything mom and dad want them to like, like his tatoo's but over all he seemed like a really good kid, they are did and isnt that our goal? She is lucky her kids havent rebelled big time, she is so controlling and seems to have such tunnel vision she cannot appreciate her kids for who and what they are.

Janet made them all stand in a circle and hold hands like she has some big announcement..."I leave in a half hour" and one kid said, "That's it??" :rotfl2:
I've never seen that show before and I only saw part of that one.... I might have to check it out next week!

Janet was a very unlikeable person -- so unlikeable that her own children disliked her. She really needs to take a long hard look in the mirror in my opinion.

Janet seems to have this delusion that everyone likes here. Last week when she was leaving her family, she told her youngest DD not to cry, and the girl was laughing. Hopefully she watched the show last night and it slapped some sense into her. Or she will end up losing all of her children.

I do believe that Janet must be Egyptian as she surely was raised very near De Nile. I know people like that in real life and am a bit jealous of them as they never suffer from pangs of conscience or feelings of inadequacy as I do. LOL
