Trading points for FW Camping?

I know this is a strange question, but our family has always enjoyed camping at FW. We're taking our first trip home at the end of June, and we're definately staying at a DVC (OKW). If we wanted to go back to the camping experience, can we use points to get nights at FW campground?

The Disney Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground is part of the Disney Collection that you can book. You should check the member website for the point requirements. Going outside the the WDW DVC resorts is not usually a good value for your points so you might want to compare the cash rate to using points.

I believe it was just this year they added the camp sites to the collection. In value season which is Aug-mid Dec during the week a full hook up site is 6 points. A site would probably be about $45 cash.
