Where do you get your trading pins?

EBAY!!! You can get a lot of pins cheap!! I just bought 100 pins for $75 with shipping so I paid 75 cents each pin!!! They run $6 and up at the parks.

I get them from ebay too. I just got 20 for 19.99 with free shipping , so $1 per pin. My 3 girls have full lanyards so I figured I'd give them 6 or 7 new pins to trade this summer so they can have fun and still keep all of their special pins.

Can anyone recommend a reputable seller? I'm so nervous to buy off of ebay - afraid I'm going to get bogus pins.

I have bought them on eBay, too. I can't remember the seller's name right now. I just look for lots that are priced about $1 a pin and a seller with a good feedback rating. I'm sure the folks on the Pin Trading board would frown on me for buyign oneBay, but pin trading is something I do for fun. I'm not looking to spend a gagillion dollars on pins. Maybe some of the ones I bought are "scrappers", if they are, I can't tell. They look fine to me. I have never had a problem trading them in the parks and I have ended up keeping a bunch of my ebay pins, too, because I often get ones I really like! You will get one answer here on the Budget board (yes, buy on eBay) and a totally different answer on the pin board! I stick with the Budget Board plan!

Thanks Y'all!!! I bought a lot of 20 this weekend - I can't wait for them to get here!! I want to see what I get before I buy another lot. There are several pin trading sellers on ebay that have 100% feedback - Those are the ones I'm looking at. I thought we were getting a good deal last year when we found a pin pack at the outlets for $5 for 4 pins - but they were all the same pins - This is mucho better!! Yay!

10 for the trip or per day? That's a per day # for my son who is the main collector in our family!

Before buying from eBay please educate yourself on what scrappers are and how prevalent they are on eBay. You can follow the link in my signature to the thread on the Collector's Board, it is very helpful and has a list of good eBay sellers. Enjoy trading!

We bought some pins off ebay before our trip. We used the links from the collectors board to find reputable sellers.

We also got some great pins for around $3 at one of the Disney outlet stores near WDW.

how long is your trip?
I'd recommend at least 4 or 5 per day.
I will probably trade upwards of 200 on my trip next month....
Yes, I know..... I have a serious addiction....

I can't even wait until I get to WDW, I stop at the store in MCO to try to make my first trade....pathetic, I know!

10 per trip ...they aren't big on the trading because most often they don't want to give up their pins, but I figured with these, they might, we'll see.

I have bought mine from travellinwinns (ebay seller) a few times....always great service and super pins!

We always bring 10 per day for each of the trading family members and throw in a few extra. We have run out.
