Trading Pins with CM's??

My DD9 likes to trade pins...my DD12 just likes to collect them. I bought some off of ebay to use as traders. DD9 was looking for Stitch pins and got quite a few. Disney sells locking pin backs so you don't have to worry about your pins falling off.

I also use the locking backs for the pins my children are absolutely not allowed to trade.

They also have pins for trade in the gift shops at the resorts! At AKL, they had a book sitting out with pins on it for customers to trade. It was pretty much on the honor system, but every time I saw anybody doing it, they traded pin for pin. DD ended up getting a couple of extremely nice princess pins from that book.

Do they always have this out? Why haven't I seen it? How does it work exactly? Is it at all the resorts or just AK Lodge? Though I guess that doesn't really matter since Jiko and Boma are on my list of to-do restaurants.

They are little pins! I think in most if not all cases they are just as tradeable as any other pin...my DH has quite a few in his pin book for trading; there was a CM we traded with once who loved them because he'd use them for tie tacks!

Also, WL has a pin book too!
