Each member of my family has a day left on 5 day park hopper passes. I understand that we can "trade in" these when purchasing annual passes. A couple of questions, first HOW MUCH will they reduce the cost for these (3 adult, one child) Keep in mind that we have Disney Club re: any additional discount, too. Also, my son, who is 7, also has one day left on a pass of his from our next-to-last visit -- I assume that his will be adjusted for each day left on his two passes? Also, I had heard that this can only be done at guest relations at a park, but when I asked CM when making reservations (AKL for two days, then Poly concierge for two days) she said that concierge could definitely handle this for us, not sure about AKL. Any info would be appreciated!

You can "trade in " the remaining days on your passes towards annuals. This can only be done at guest relations at the parks or DD. You can only apply one pass for each annual. So, the next to the last day pass will have to wait.
They prorate the amount. IE: 150.00 for a 5 day pass, used 3 days, you have 2 days remaining, they would apply 60.00 to your annuals ( I made these numbers up for easy example.)
They will apply the DC to annual passes at the time of trade in.

I wouldn't do it. You usually get such a small credit for the trade in, it's better to keep what you have for a future trip and just buy what you need for this trip. The trade in is based on what you PAID for that ticket. So if you got a ticket years ago, it's not worth as much as you might think.

For instance, my nephew had a 6 day hopper pass with 4 days left on it and all 3 plusses left on it (water park admission). All we needed for our trip last week was a 5 day park pass, as we weren't doing water parks this time.

When guest services checked the ticket (wth 4 park days and 3 water park days left on it) it was only "worth" $140. A 5 day child's ticket cost approx. $200. So it would have cost me $60 to get him one more park day, but I would have lost all 3 water park admissions.

Instead I kept what I had, only spent $42 to buy him a one day ticket, used the newly purchased one day ticket and the 4 park days left on his old ticket for our 5 days this trip, and kept the 3 water park admissions for a future trip. BE SURE you do the math, or you could spend more than you need to.

Last year we had a day and a plus left. So, do I understand that I can go back this year and still use my option day and one day at a park.????? Thanks.......

You need to look at the back of your ticket. Most Disney tickets never expire....... But the ticket should tell you. I have had some for years now - they are just as good as they were when I purchased them - and a whole lot cheaper than today's prices. I personally would never trade one in unless you have a child move to an adult (Disney does this for an even trade).
