Trading in Park Days for AP w/ DVC Discount

Is there any way you can trade in unused park days for an AP with DVC discount without going down to WDW? I know it is must not be possible over the phone? Can you do it at a Disney Store? Or the World of Disney in NYC?
If anyone else has tried to do this let us know.

You can trade in but I believe only at Guest Services at WDW. You get the original amount paid per day and they give you little or no value for any plus options you might have. You may be better off keeping them for a trip down the road that an AP wouldn't be the best option for you.
