Yes, but the kid needs a lesson in "beta".
Beta items were furniture (or green flips shoes) that were only available
for a short time during May 23 - June 27, 2005. That time period was
when VMK was in "beta testing", so people refer to the furniture only
sold then as "beta".
Anything sold for one weekend only should be referred to as "retired",
or what I prefer, "moratorium". Why do I like the second word?
Because Disney LOVES to put it's films in "moratorium" every 7-10 years
to re-release them to a new generation of children. The films aren't
technically retired if they're being released again.
And the same holds true with VMK items. Some items were sold more
than once, but for very short periods of time, like the Sorcerer Mickey
Ears (not beta) or the blue furniture (other than rockets) that
used to
be beta until it was released again briefly.
