Finally made the move to the west coast and I'm wondering how the pin trading is at Disneyland? Anyone been lately? Most things I read here are about WDW.

I'm not a "serious" trader or collector by any means, so I'm mostly just wondering if the CMs are easy to trade with and if many guests come prepared to trade.

Thanks!
Julie

Hi Julie,

You will find trading with CMs to be easy and fun although there seem to be more green (kids) lanyards these days. It's great fun though so jump in and enjoy.

You will find pin traders more on Sunday than any other day but during the MAAPF there will probably be lots of them around. The biggest day is always the first Sunday of the month (switched to July 11th this month because of the holiday) when they have the "gift with purchase" pins.

You can also check the schedule for the pin trading nights at the Paradise Pier Hotel which happens twice a month. Always a large turn out.

Ive found trading with CMs to be pretty good- I dont have any *good* traders so I dont trade with other collectors but I enjoy looking- I know several people who have gotten hit by the "sharks" so be wary and if you have anything decent- know what to try to get ie if ya have good pins dont get hit by trading for rack pins etc

Ill let ya know what I experiance next week :) -em
