I have a ten day- water park- no exp. ticket and was wondering if I can upgrade to a DVC AP.

I have used 4 park days and 2 water park days and was also wondering if any math whiz's might now the cost difference that I would have to pay for the prem. DVC AP.

I believe you only have 14 days from the date of first use to upgrade. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

We are going to WDW April 27 to May 4, 2010. Staying at CBR. We will be going to WDW again in May 2011 for our first trip as DVC members. Will I be able to up grade our 8 day Park Hopper MYW tickets to DVC AP tickets at the renewal rate and get the 15 months so that we can use them when we go back in May 2011.

No- If you dont already have an AP than you cannot get the renewal rate.

I would call and ask.
You have a non exp. ticket which from what I understand you can upgrade at any time but you will only get what you paid and then the math of how they figure it. The options as I understand have no value when doing this. Also from what I understand the AP will be back dated to the date of first use of the excahnge ticket.
most likely not worth it...
IMO keep it if an AP is useful buy it ticket prices are always going up....
5 years ago I paid 360 for a 10 day non expire park hopper with options and thought it was expensive :lmao: imagine Disney for 36 a day plus 5 water parks for free

That is not correct - expiring or not, you can't do any ticket upgrade at 14 days from first use. If it wasn't partially used, then it could be done, but the OP's ticket has been used.

Check Cheshire Figment's ticket sticky in the Park Touring board for all the details on upgrades to APs (post #7)

but if you have the no expiry option on your ticket, you can still save it (since prices will go up anyway) and buy a new annual pass to cover you if you're going to have multiple trips in the 15 month period. (and also allow you to get the TIW card to save on dining)
