No one knows post COVID, as it has not reopened yet. However, pre-COVID, it typically has a long line starting at least 30-60 minutes before opening. There are usually enough spots for most people who get there at least 15-20 minutes early to get in, but if you don't make it, you will be waiting a long time for someone to leave. If you show up about an hour or two after opening, the first shift is heading out and the wait should not be too bad. Alternately, they now have a large outdoor area , including an outdoor bar (Tangaroa Terrace). It obviously lacks the wow-factor of inside, but the drinks are the same and it has a nice, tropical feeling to it. I would imagine Thursday afternoon would be your best bet, as weekends are crowded from opening to close.
