You can buy the drink without the glass. But you cannot buy the glass without the drink.

They do have a couple non-alcoholic drinks and a least one comes in a tiki glass.

I'm betting you could find a patron who would be happy to consume the drink for you, maybe even toss a couple of bucks your way. It's a chummy kind of spot.

Honestly, if all that you want is the glass, I would skip Trader Sams and head to the store in the lobby of the Poly. They sold different tiki glasses. Not the same as Trader Sam's but really cute.

I walked in, asked for the Hippopoto-MaiTai glass without the drink and they sold it to me. Gave me the receipt and I picked up a new glass at the door. I was sort of in a hurry and couldn't stay for a drink this time.

I've been to Sam's many times and actually had a friend in a similar situation. You can order the drink and not drink it just to get the mug.
