Does anyone know when it opens for business--is it opened for lunch or later?

The DLR website says it's open for lunch and dinner, but doesn't list times.

Does anyone know the "secrets" at this bar. I know if you order a certain drink the volcano goes off, and stuff like that but I don't remember what. I went with my son the night I flew down there when he was discharged from the Marines but I asked the bartender to make all the stuff work. I am going with a friend this year and I want to make sure he gets to see all the fun stuff.

For the stuff to see, do you need to go up to the bar, order, and wait for the show? Is there wait staff? From what I've read about it being small and seats outside, I'm having trouble picturing what this may be like to visit.

We never got time for the uh oa sp? But it certainly looks worth it. The food is good and lunch is available (just go inside to the cafeteria next door to order). I ordered the other two drinks with the souvenier glasses and that is where you get the show in the bar

Dh and I sat one afternoon in the sun noshing and drinking....woot it was a great afternoon. Met a nice local lady who comes just to the bar to read and drink wine. Disney has done a fantastic job with the refurbs at the DLH!

I really liked it there and will definitely go back in June!

Their is wait staff outside and in the bar. The bar is small but their is lots of seating outside extending into the cafeteria area. If you want outside drink service I believe you have to stay within the outside bar area though (correct me if Im wrong). As I remember the show was every 15 minutes or when you ordered the drink. Minds a little foggy...lol a good time was had by all

We just joined together 2 of the hightables and fit 8 people.

Okay that didn't help lets try again. SO the inside works if you join 2 hightables right at the entrance ish next to the painting. Inside is definantly where it's at! There are 2 waiters there I loved gloria and charles. In my trip report you can see it.

I believe the drinks that have "special effects" are the Krakatoa, the Uh-oa and the Shipwreck.

And certain barstools.
