I shopped at Trader Joe's yesterday. I had already selected some boneless, skinless chicken, & the next thing I saw was a display for Mango Sauce. There was a recipe for using the Mango Sauce with chicken, so I tried it for dinner. It got very good reviews in our house! I put the chicken in a glass baking dish, covered it with a mixture of the Mango Sauce, orange juice, raisins, finely chopped almonds & cinnamon & baked it until it was done. I served it with baked rice. The recipe in the store didn't use cinnamon, but curry. My husband is not a big curry fan, so I tried the cinnamon. I am thinking next time I might add some coconut.

The Mango Sauce label says it is good as a glaze for shrimp, chicken, pork, beef & fish. It says it can also be used as a topping for ice cream.

I am so glad I tried the Mango Salsa at Olivia's at Old Key West a few years ago. Ever since then I like trying different mango dishes!

Thanks for the review. I saw the mango sauce but regretabilly passed it by. Next time I will pick it up. I love mango sauce with coconut shrimp.

Thanks for the input. I plan to head over to Joe's later this week and get some things. I have a great mango chutney recipe if you would like it! Sounds very similar to what you did but you serve it as a side or pour over top once the meat is done. Goes great with pork or salmon.

Spinning, I buy mango chutney & cranberry chutney at Trader Joe's, but if you have a recipe, that would be great. I just might try making my own! Thank you.

Mickey's Old Friend, we like coconut in this house, so I just might try adding it next time.
