Trade Room Question 6/1

Hey. I just went into the trade room with Host_Lily. She is offering the new Pirate pin (which is very cool, I might add). I offered the Hong Kong Main Street USA pin (which cost $500 credits when released) and she put up the pirate pin but did not click ok. Then she typed "no buyables." I was so confused - this pin can no longer be bought. Fearing I would be booted or dc, I put up a snowman magic and she accepted. Any clue what I should have offered? And the snowman magic could also be purchased at one time - why was this pin ok?

The only thing I can figure is she got that one mixed up with the 25 credit one that's currently sold. The 2 times I did staff trading last month, I offered the buyable Tiki pins, and that was accepted. I'm assuming Tomorrowland Retro pins are okay as well. That's really a shame you lost your snowman magic though.

Maybe a tiki pin would have worked @_@ I dc'ed at 1st in line x_x As least you got the pin 46th right now wish me luck

tokien7, semi-unrelated, but thanks for posting this. The VMK calendar wouldn't load on my computer, so I had no clue there was even a trading event going on. Oops.

I would think the hosts would know which pins can and cannot be bought. I will drop a message into the black hole and see what comes of it.

the HKDL main street is in the emporium under pins for i think 250 credits

Next to trade and..DC I swear I'm going to quit if this problem isn't fixed I'll never get that pin Me and my brother always have to trade our stuff just to get the new pins at staff events. I don't see why they can't just sell it.

This pin can still be bought in the Emporium for 250 credits.
That's why she didn't take it.

Yes. It's been there since it came out.
I know it's easy to miss these things when almost all you look at is the specials.

I just got in and traded. Before I was able to click on the globe map to leave the room, I was dc'd.

Lucky me.

The odd thing is that every time I have traded with a host, that is the pin I have traded - I have tons of them. This is the first time a host has refused.
