Where is a good timeshare to trade into that would accomodate my 3 year old son? We loved the attention that he got on the DVC cruise (and the break :love2: that DW and I got as well). Is there anything comparable to that?

There really isn't much in the vein of WDW, even the non WDW resorts which have some activities. Still, there are a few All Inclusive options but very expensive. And some very nice places with activities. It really just depends on what you want. Timeshares in general are really designed to allow you to be independent, many have little options for restaurants and groceries while others have quite good options. I wouldn't make a decision about a timeshare exchange based on a 3 y/o alone.

Just out of curiosity does anyone know what resorts are all inclusive and where they are. I have older children (teenagers) that eat me out of house and home. An all inclusive sounds like an interesting way to go.
anyones help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks in advance.

I'm not sure that any of the places on the DVC list are mandatory AI though some have AI or similar meal plan packages. And I'm not familiar with any AI that I think is a good deal as they almost always require for the entire LOS and Entire party usually at $80 or more per person per day. A number of the resorts on the DVC list for MX, and some for the Caribbean, have an AI type plan. The main one I'm specifically familiar with that's still on the DVC exchange list is Paradise Village in Nuevo Vallarta, MX. The only way an AI is going to be workable in this situation is if you eat and drink yourself silly. Some of the meal plans can be a different story but still unlikely to really save any money.

Don't forget to consider Hilton Head and Vero Beach which, since they're inside the system, are a very good use of points. There are lots of activities for kids at both resorts. (And, as Dean suggests, I wouldn't worry about an "American Plan" or meal plan. They're not great bargains and they tend to make meals dominate your trip.)
