I am looking to stay at one of the nicer DVC properties (AKL, or similar) from May 5-14 or any subset (later start, checkout May 14). It will just be 2 people. I'm not sure how the DVC units are partitioned, but anything that includes a small kitchen and a washer/dryer will work.

I have a Studio or 1BR at the Westin Ka'anapali Ocean Resort Villas (original or North side of the resort) that I can make available at a convenient date for you. This summer might be difficult (but I do have the units reserved for July 3-10 if those dates work), but anything outside major school holidays should be doable this year.

PM me or write to my userid at austin dot rr dot com.

I need to finalize my travel plans in the next couple of weeks.

Henry,
If you want to work this out for 2011, I sure am interested. With DVC we need to book as early as possible. I would love to go next Feb- Mar. Let me know if you are interested. I do own at AKV.

Hi, Kim!

I'm sorry I didn't respond earlier. I am traveling and didn't have time to get back to you.

Early next year could work too. Do you think there is availability this coming May (May 5-14)? I am not very familiar with the way DVC works. I'd like a unit that includes a washer/drier and sleeps 2. My wife and my daughter are going.

Let me know what you have to offer. I need a room preferably for the whole stay. However, I could stay at the Swan or the Dolphin the early part of the stay if you can only get a week at a time. I would prefer to finish out the stay at the resort. That is stay at a hotel the first days but then be at the resort until the last day. Just to be sure, AKV is Animal Kingdom Village, right? I am not even sure exactly which of the Disney resorts is the best one to choose.

With Starwood I can reserve one week 12 months in advance. I own at both the Westin Ka'anapali Ocean Resort Villas and WKORV-North. The South property is more lively and has a pool with a slide. The rooms are a little bigger but the studio only has a sliding glass door that opens to the outside, and doesn't have a balcony. The studios in the North property do have a small sitting area on a balcony. The North property is calmer and more romantic. They are adjacent to each other. Both are very nice.

My post count is too low so I can't just put the link in this reply.

I could also exchange to any of the other locations that Starwood owns.

I will call tomorrow, but I really doubt there is that many days available for May. I was talking about May 2011. I'll call and get back to you. You don't care which resort? Points are points within the 7 month window. I own at AKV, so for Next year is not a problem at all in booking. This year probably is, but I will find out.
