On our very first day of our very first trip, TP is listing it as a 1

:banana::banana::banana::banana:

Don't think I'll be using my GAD passes for FP that day!

We had ones for our September trip. It was very nice, but comparable to the same week last year.
There is a thread here about whether this September was more crowded than last and seems to be evenly split, some saying more and some saying less.
I would not get too excited about the low December numbers. We were there last year and are expecting the same as then, which was a little more than September. I think last year these were 3s and 4s under the old system.

That's great!!!! I've never used a crowd calendar before - the upcoming trip will be my first time - and I can't wait to see what it predicts for us. Of course, my family will probably determine which parks what day more than the calendar, but at least I can compare the predictions to the actual attendance.

Advice for both of you -- check the per park crowd calendar for a better idea of crowds at each park. Even if the overall resort crowd level is a 1, there might be individual parks with a 4 or 6 or 8... It would stink to assume the best and find the worst.

Yep - the week we are going, there is a day that is listed as a 3 but Epcot is forecast as a 7.1.

Agree, funny how a simple change in the numbers they use (utlizing all 10 in the 10 point scale instead of 4-10) can cause such excitement (and press) on the Dis since crowd calendar 2.0 debuted. Pretty smart move on the UG's part.

Very similar boat. We have a day that's a 2 with EP at 7.5. They've moved it down; it was a 3 with EP at 9.2 before!

Is there any way to access the info on the touringplans.com website without paying $10.95? That's nuts!!

I have the 2009, but not the 2010 Unofficial Guide, so I do not have a discount code, but even with a discount code, I am shocked that they want you to pay for that info!!

If there is anyone with access that feels like looking up a couple of days for me, I would really appreciate it!!

Epcot for Tuesday 10/5 and MK for Wednesday 10/6 and Thursday 10/7.

Thanks!! :)

Are there other perks to the $10.95, or is it just a crowd calendar?

You get access to ready made touring plans on the site and the mobile application Lines which can give you wait times in the parks.

I just got the 2011 book but I didn't see a discount code. Anyone know where I can find it? Is the site worth it?
Are mobile application lines for cell phones?

You must pay if you want the info. You can save 50% off if you own the current Unoffical Guide or can often get one thru the allears.net newsletter.

It is against Disboard policy to post things that you must pay to access like the tp.com crowd calendar info.

Check out easywdw.com, they have a crowd calendar that is similar but based on different facors. The website owner also provides an explination of each day's touring including why the parks are avoid or best parks.

It's not a code per say go tothe site and sign up using the option I own a current unoffical guide, it will direct you on what you need to enter from the guide to get the discount

It's not an actual code. When you sign up, you select your guide (2010 or 2011) and they will ask for the last word on page XXX (the page number changes). If you provide the correct code, you'll get the discount.

I think the line app on my smart phone is really cool. Can hardly wait to try it in the park!:woohoo:

Just wanted to share something. I checked out www.easywdw.com and their calendar. The calendar gives the $$$ signs signifying the cost per night. Well, just by shifting our vacation by one day I was able to save $450 on our lodging costs. WOOOO HOOOO!!!!!:banana::banana: This is something I wouldn't have known otherwise. :flower3: Thanks for the website - now we can stay an extra two nights for the same price. :yay:
