I have never been on Toy Story Mania but I have heard a lot of talk about how tired your arm gets playing. My daughter is 6 years old and I wonder if she will have a hard time playing and just get frustrated. I do not want to invest the time and energy to ride if she will have a hard time actually playing.
I would appreciate any feedback, Thank you for your time.

Not at all--I can virtually guarantee she will love it.

Your arm can get tired, but my DS loves it, never had a problem, he's 4. They really don't make a big deal out of scores, everyone gets a "prize", she should be fine. I think it's mostly adults that say their arm was tired.

5 year old DGD has been playing since she was 3; she beats ME! Needless to say the 9 year old DGD scores 5-6-7 times my score! She'll love it...it's SO much fun! We're usually at the gate for rope drop; go immediately to Toy Story and grab a Fastpass; then get in the ride line. Good luck! :tink:

My arm always gets tired before the end but my DS7 never has a problem and always beats my score. :confused3. He loves the ride:)

I must be doing something wrong if people get tired arms from TSM. I am retired, love the ride and have never gotten a tired arm.....I have a blast even if my score isn't 190,000. Geesh, people need to quit worrying about things before they try it. LOL Just go and have fun....it is a game not a relay for life or death. It is just a short ride like all rides.....so even if you try to pull the string as fast as you can for the minute in front of each screen there is a break between the screens as your car moves to the next screen and your arm can relax a second. Might get more tired from just laughing so hard as you try to hit the targets.

Neither me or the kids got tired arms. My 5 and 6 yo could both play it fine!

If your daughter is an average six year old, she will enjoy the attraction very much. I have yet to see anyone coming off the ride without a smile on their face. I never heard of anyone getting a tired arm and getting frustrated. And my five year old grandson liked the ride.

That being said, I still wouldn't wait in the standby line for two hours for the thing.

Thanks for all the encouraging feedback. I guess I should have phrased my question a little better. I was more concerned with her ability to be in control and actually feel like she is playing the game. She has a very independent streak and we have been on rides where she just bounced around and had a hard time actually participating in the ride. Sounds to me like we will all have a blast. Thanks

It is fun no matter what but I'm almost 18 and my arm gets tired at the end but thats because I am pulling the string as fast as i possibly can for the entire duration of the game if you dont act like you are playing in the super bowl then your arm wont get tired... I think:lmao:

The reason the lines are so long is that people of all ages enjoy it. She'll have a blast. Be prepared, she will probably want to ride it again and again.

Heck no.... My 3 year old loved it.. This was our first time getting on. we finally were able to get fast passes before they were all sold out.. Both my 5 and 3 year old absolutely love it... As earlier mentioned your arm can get a little tired.. But so fun :thumbsup2

my almost 6 year old loves it. She does not score very many points but she loves it. Het a FP very early so you won't have to wait as long.

No worries, she'll be fine. :thumbsup2

I think she will love it, TSM and Buzz ride at MK are really fun rides my son and I had a blast he is 5 , The only bad part abt TSM is the line can be long but hopefully you can ride it a couple times... Have a blast.)

Oh, she will be playing the game. She will be the ONLY one in control of her score. In fact, I would be more concerned about how she's going to feel after going through everything and seeing her scores compared to yours.

She will love it I'm sure. My arm does get tired but that's because my DH and I are very competitive and always try to beat each other's score. My kids, not so much. They just like playing it.

My DS6 has been enjoying TSMM for years! While not as fast or strong an older kid, he has a blast and his play has evolved as he has matured. Just let her have fun at it and encourage her in her efforts....its a great family ride!
