Has anyone used the Toy Story Lot recently? What time do you need to get to the lot in order to get to DL for rope drop? Where is the best pedestrian entrance? Thanks all!
We walked over to the Toy Story Lot from the Convention Center area a few weeks ago. There is only one pedestrian entrance into the lot and its the same entrance that cars use off of Harbor Blvd. The nice thing about the Toy Story Lot is that they do security screening there in the mornings. Park (or walk over), go through security, and then get on a bus. The bus takes 5 minutes or so to get over to the Promenade and the entrances to the parks. We missed rope drop, but then we had left our hotel at 7:45 so we knew we'd miss it.-We got to that gate at Disneyland at 8:20. I'd plan at least 30 minutes from the time you leave your car to the time you get to the gates. Hope that helps.

Did not use it, but walked past the harbor entrance at 640am. Cars were lining up, but weren't yet allowed into the lot. Looked like they were about to open though. Probably only took another 5 minutes to get to park entrance from there, walking, however I had to wait for security.
