Toy Story characters at MGM?

Hi,
When we were in WDW in 2001, we went to Al's Toy Barn to see Buzz and Woody. When we went again in 2003, I didn't see the characters. Are they still around? What hours do they appear? Thanks!

I don't know the hours, but I know I have seen the green army men recently.

We were there in Oct 2004 and saw the gang and the green army men at MGM. I saw the characters by Al's toybarn and have no idea what time. I also saw Buzz by tomorrow land at MK.

We were there in September, and Buzz Woody Jesse and someone else..can't remember, were all at Al's Toy Barn. My son wanted nothing to do with having his picture taken, so I can't check.

When we were at WDW in Sept 2004 the characters were at Al's Toy Barn w/ a line from here to eternity . We very quickly dashed passed them so my DD won't see because we didn't have time to wait.

Anyway, you want to know about times. When you get to MGM make sure you get your map w/ the attraction times. The times are a small white sheet that goes with the maps. That piece of paper will tell you the times the characters will be appearing. Make sure you get to the characters a decent amount of time before the time is up, because if you get caught in a long line close to them leaving, you may be out of luck. And nothing is worse than seeing your child disappointed after standing in line wanting to see the characters and then they leave w/o seeing them. Also...if you forget to get the attraction times sheet, you can ask a cast member at a gift shop to find out when they are going to be at Al's Toy Barn - all they do is make a quick phone call . Buzz Lightyear is also at Al's Toy Barn. Last month we saw Buzz, Woody & Jesse. The times will be on the MGM daily schedule.

Is this something you haveto ask for? Do they have these at all the parks?

They have these at all the parks. I find this especially helpful at Epcot because it tells when the double decker bus w/ all the character will be appearing.

To answer if you have to ask for it - no you don't. It is located right by the maps. They don't put them in the maps because the times may change from day to day.

Another place this sheet is quite helpful is at the MK where the sheet tells you the times for the Cinderella show outside the castle (the name of the show escapes me ).

We saw Jesse, Woody and Buzz at Al's Toy Barn last Thursday. The Green Army Men were out in front of the Sorcerer's hat but we were too late to get a pic with them.

When we were at Disney in November, we saw Woody, Jessie, and Bullseye inside the Diamond Horseshoe in Frontierland in Magic Kingdom. They were doing meets and greets throughout the day. They do rotate and sometimes not all characters are there, but usually at least one of them is. I would assume that they are still meeting there (since I never heard anything different), so that's another option for seeing Toy Story Characters!

I was just down there last week and we saw Buzz, Woody, and Jessi. I found that the best time to see them was right before the Muppets-3D let out...as for finding them, I saw them every time we walked by, but you can ask any cast member and they'll be happy to find out for you.
