Toy Story 3 Poll

Well, it seems as though I'm not alone in thinking TS3 is a bad idea.

It all depends on the story. If it is good, then TS3 could be another winner. If it isn't, then no amount of CGI can save it.

Sequels are not ALWAYS a bad idea............... James Bond, Star Trek, Star wars (ok, just the 1st 3) to name a few..............

The problem with this one, as I see it, is that it's being created by the DTV group instead of one of the more creative divisions.

I'd like to see another Toy Story because I really enjoyed the first two ... but ... I don't know how Toy Story 3 would turn out without Pixar. I'm guessing that the animation would look totally different.

Tom Hanks has already said that he will not touch TS3 with a 10 foot pole because Pixar is not involved.

Never mind that fact that it will SUCK LEMONS.

Weeks after Tom Hanks said he would consider doing Toy Story 3 for Disney without Pixar depending on the creative team, Tim Allen came right out and said he absolutely would do Toy Story 3 under those circumstances, assuming Disney finds a replacement as good as the Pixar team.

1) This is not a valid poll.
2) It is not random or scientific.
3) Therefore, I don't put much stock in the results.
4) I think there is enough interest to warrant a TS3.
5) I doubt a blockbuster, but definitely a money-maker.
6) I would bet on a TS3, and would supprt it.


PS -
I liked TS1 because it was new and different.
I didn't like TS2.
I doubt I will personally see TS3.

I think they were pushing it when they made TS2. They lucked out and it was good. They should quit while they're ahead.
