Toy guns/ rifle....

My son bought a little steel, metal cap gun last year in Disney from Indian Jones shop. They don't make this quality here in Canada. Same kind of gun my brother and I played with as kids....Anyway. My son has decided he wants the toy rifle as do the two of his friends. If we packed them in checked suitcase will this be alright?

They 'should be' fine in the checked luggage. My only concern would be about theft. Hate to say it but it does happen. You may be able to ship them home from WDW though.

My son has been "collecting" all of the guns from the Pirates of the Caribbean shop. We have always brought them home in checked luggage. I usually pack them on the bottom of the suitcase, underneath a ton of dirty clothes. I don't know if that helps but it may be a deterrent to airport theft!

You are permitted to pack REAL, functioning firearms (unloaded) in checked luggage. So you'll have no problem with toys.

I agree, there's always a minute chance of theft, but you will have no "security" or "legal" trouble in putting toy weapons in your checked luggage. Like I said, you could do that with a real gun, too.
