Tower rooms in Hotel Royal Plaza?

Does anyone know if the fireworks can be seen from the balcanies at the Royal Plaza? I spoke to the csr at the hotel and she said that some rooms higher up can view them. If anyone has seen them from the resort, please let me know what they were like. Are you really far away? Is it worth it to avoid going to the MK on NYE and stay in the room and watch? Any help is appreciated.
