Tower preference at DLH?

Going in October and was wondering if I should ask for a specific tower. I know such a request would not be guaranteed. What tower do people prefer to stay in and why?

All the towers are great. I have stayed in each one multiple times. They are only steps from one another. Each has its own upside.

I prefer the Fantasy Tower. We have a lot of purchases sent back to the hotel, so it's nice to be close to the bell desk. You also have the shops right there in that tower & it's closest to most of the restaurants.

The Frontier Tower is just too far for my taste. I know in the real scope of things, the distance isn't that much further. But, when you've pushed your park touring to the limit for 12 hours in a day, that extra 100 yards can feel like a mile. Especially on day 6 or 7.

The Adventure Tower is technically closest to DD & the monorail & definitely the tower that I hear most people recommend. I've only stayed there once, this past July & I really didn't like it. A lot of that was probably due to not having a great room. So, we didn't enjoy our time there, but as I said, a lot of people seem to like it.

I hope you're able to get your request for whichever you choose!

I've only ever stayed in the Frontier Tower. It was last year during Dapper Day weekend and there were large crowds everywhere. My husband and I loved that despite being what felt like a lot further away during the late afternoon heat, we saw very few people in the lobby of our tower and it was just a few steps away from Tangaroa Terrace and Trader Sam's Tiki Bar. Both were a great place to pop down to for a drink and small meal. It felt more secluded and private to us so we enjoyed it.

I really like the Frontier Tower. It is quiet and can have great views. The rooms feel slightly larger.

We stayed in Frontier Tower and really enjoyed it. We had an incredible view and the distance that I always hear about, wasn't an issue at sll, even with 3 kids.

Frontier tower is great imo because it's not as requested that I know of. Our first DLH stay was Frontier on the 8th floor and it was awesome. It overlooked the gazebo and Trader Sams/pool.

Adventure we have stayed twice ( once request once just luck of the draw) and loved it too. It is slightly closer but not enough that it's a deal breaker.

Honestly all of them are good but if distance is concerning for you I'd go fantasy or adventure as my top choices.

Since fewer people request this tower, I think you stand a better chance at an upgrade.
