Does anyone know how big (tall) the drop of TOT is?!?

I just went to our local theme park today and conquered my fear of heights by riding the power tower (250 foot drop), twice and LOVED it... (very similar to TOT but not indoors).

I'm just curious as to how high the tot is... so i can prepare myself... i wasnt going to go onit, but if i can handle what i did today, im up for just about anything at disney!

any feedback is appreciated!!!

I could be wrong but I believe it is 13 stories, how many feet that is, I'm not sure. It is a great ride and the ride randomly changes so you may end up with two different experiences.

I know it's not 250 feet, for sure! If you could do an outside one, you should be just fine on ToT!

I think you'll be fine. As posted above, the drops vary in length and are programmed randomly so each time you go is slightly different.

It's a great ride. So glad you conquered your fear and can ride it!!!

It is 13 stories. I think it is around 199 feet, so you'll be fine.

You will not fall nearly as far as you did on the other ride, but the TOT has a much different feel to it. Here in Denver we have a six flags that has tower of doom, it is over 200 feet, and while it is a bIg drop it fails in comparrison To TOT!

It fails so much in I don't even go on it anymore because it is boring. ToT you get so into the ride before you are even on it that your adrenaline makes you more nervous and fearful than anything.

No the drop isn't bad at all, but if you are lucky (or unlucky) enough to get a 5 6 or even 7 drop sequence, then you will see what fear of heights and falling is all about...lol

RIDE THE TOWER, IT IS THE BEST RIDE IN ALL OF WDW!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll pile in, too...it's not the length of the drop, it's the whole ride. You don't just drop, you shoot up and also pause at times so you can wonder what's next. As foolishmortal has said, you just can't compare it to the other "power tower" type rides. It's just that awesome...

One of the biggest differences between ToT and a regular drop ride is that most drop rides they just let you go, and it's a freefall drop. At ToT they PULL you down. However, since the whole system is integrated, even though they advertise it as an "out of control elevator", it does feel very controlled, and safe. The starts, stops, and slowdowns are very smooth; I think it just feels like a giant yo-yo.

I think that it is 182 ft. , but don't hold me to that.

Doesn't matter to me how far it drops, as long as I am on this ride. Love it.
