Tower of Terror (Day or Night???)

Do you think Tower of Terror is cooler during the day, or at night?

I think I might like the night time rides better. It kind of gives you that "haunted hotel" feeling a little more.

I like both day and night. I like day, because you can see more of the view. I like night, because, like you said, it gives more of a haunted hotel feeling.

ToT is one of my favorite rides ever. I could sit in that elevator all day just going up and down.

My vote is for BOTH!!! You can never get enough TOT....love that ride!!!!

I would say night for two reasons:

Night time better matches the storyline and it is just easier to get into the spooky mindset.

Night time offers what I feel are the best views of DL when at the top of ToT, I love the way DL looks from that angle, you can see everything!

Another great time to enjoy the view of DL from the top of ToT is at dusk, very beauitful as the sun sets over the west.

I voted for either because I love how the ToT tells and immerses you in the story.

I voted for Day and Night only because we usually only go to DL in the off season during the week so it always closes at 6 so I've never gotten to ride it at night.

I actually didnt vote becuase I have never been on it at night, but I had to comment b/c I WOULD LOVE TO!!! If I get a chance this next trip to ride at night, I will most definately!!

I was scared to vote, I thought it might lightning zap me into the Twilight Zone!

The best is to ride it at night in the rain (and lightning) so it matches the story perfecty!

I say both for different reasons.


Day time because its a great ride to cool off when its hot outside and i like that you feel like its nighttime until you see outside before you drop.

Night time because it does have the "twilight zone" feel. Also, the twinkling lights of DL DCA have a great ambience to them
