7 day forecast is calling for a high of 81 degrees & a low of 66 w/a 10% chance of rain.

Looks like it will be nice and dry, and after running all summer in 90 degree+ weather, pretty cool by comparison.

Since I am insanely slow, my hope is to break 1 +30.

Bill what do you have to worry about looking for a bracelet? We're going to be looking at men's legs searching for a scuba Mickey tattoo (btw Susan has Mickey tattoos above her ankles too yes there are 2 LOL)

I do have the black lettering bracelet plus i will have a WISH tag hanging off my park bag. It's lime green and the word is a cut out and metal.

81? I've been running in 50-60 degrees for the last month. Luckily I've been training inside the gym so it does get hot...I'm still scared of the humidity, have I mentioned that?

Anyway, the main bags are packed and loaded. Most of the carryons are packed. Just have to throw the last few things in and then wait for 4 am to arrive.

Anyone who is there earlier, look for a lime green stroller. Or a small child screaming MICKEY!!

Don't sweat it, very good LOL Very good

Did a 3 mile run this mrn and the water traps have a foot more depth as I think I sweat out about that much.

Saw some lightening to the south as I ran,

I also have a disney tattoo. I have a butterfly on my left ankle but
I have a tinkerbell tatoo on my right ankle. It looks just like my avaitor. But I will also have amy WISH bracklet on.

on the Off Kilter and yes Run Run Away is a song they sing - its an 80's song by Slade (or something like that!!) Its not one I particulary care for. I prefer their originals - but that is just me!!

Well I am hoping for no rain like there was this weekend. Hopefully we will be getting that cooler weather they keep saying is coming our way (unfortunately for us down here in south Florida the so called "cool" fronts have yet to appear - there is talk of them coming but they always fizzle out before getting here) I am planning doing my taper week runs (3 m tomorrow and 2 miles on Wed.) outside so I will be use to the heat and humidity - at least it has been the only weather I have trained in.

As far as how to recognize me. I will be wearing a light blue sleeveless shirt with black bike shorts. I also have 2 cat tattoos on my right ankle (one on the inside and one on the outside) they are portriats of my cats. Before and after the race I will be with my DH who has lots of tattoos (but for my races he normally wears a long sleeve shirt with quick dry shorts) he also has 14 earrings in his left ear (and that is usually a dead give away that its him!!!)

This is going to be funny - a bunch of WISHer's looking for each other's tattoos!!

For those sporting tattoos, for future reference please keep in mind that some of your WISH team mates deal with regular back issues (like ME). If you add more tattoos, think about placing them on a higher part of your body. Can I ask how you expect us to be able to find you guys by tattoos on the ankles at night (that is, of course, unless the back is really bad and I am walking bent over anyway). Might have to wait to meet you until after the post-race party where after a beer or twelve I may be crawling around on the ground anyway.

Erica hasn't got her ankle tattoo yet but the plan is for a ring of disney race characters, Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Donald in a circle connected by a wish green ribbon.

We plan to get this art work done after the Minnie, since she will have earned each character by then.

I'm thinking of a ankle tattoo of my own, the Olympic Rings with Senior Games below on the inside of my right ankle and a Mickey racewalking on the outside. Then a wish color ribbon between.

We should have them by the Tower of Terror next year.

Yikes, sorry Dave I don't have a photo of my tattoo but it is the exact copy of my aviator to the left. I didn't realise it at first, I had a candle with this pose on it that I took to my tattoo guy and a while later noticed this avaiator. It is probably one of the best Tinks, I have seen my tattoo guy is awesome. But you will get to see my tattoo in 3 days!!!!!!!

I love Erica's tattoo idea that will look amazing.

I want to get another just not sure what yet.

Bill...OK just for you. Mike has a tattoo on his left arm. It has a leprchaun (sp) with a Canadian Flag wrapped around it....he is about 5'8 so hope you won't have to look down

I do have one on my back but it will be covered by my shirt. I know not a big help am I. LOL I wear low cut socks so my ankle tattoos will be visible.

I have a tattoo too, but it's also on my back. However, during the race I usually just wear a running bra with no shirt, so it might be visible. It's tattoo of a flower (hibiscus) with a little blue butterfly hovering over it, and underneath it has the name Matthew Alexander written for my middle child who is no longer with us.

DH who will be with me, and may be wearing his WISH sleeveless shirt also has one on his arm. It's a baby with angels wings lying in a pair of hands, and it also has Matthew Alexander written underneath it.

My DS should be easy to spot. He plans on spraying his hair glow in the dark green.

From what I know, the other races at WDW(other than Marathon weekend), don't offer rides back to WDW resorts. With no final instructions, I hope this changes as if you don't get your packet until Sat, you won't have much time to make other plans

Met up with Scott H and his lovely wife Lynn. Did some F&W and a couple of "rides" at EPCOT. It was really hot and humid. Sweating like dogs in the shade. This could make the race interesting.

Make sure to drink up and take electrolytes before the race.
