hi ithink i read on here somewhere that if you had an ap u could preview tower of terror...does anyone know about this. we are goin on 28 nov

Rumours are suggesting that 22nd December is when ToT will be open for the public, although April 2008 is the official opening :)

The whole Tower of Terror area is still surrounded by high boarding, as of 23rd October and they are still working on the ToT itself. Cast members can be seen arriving regularly to test it, however, it appears to be cast members only, not ap holders - sorry.

Best advice... Check at Guest Relations in the studios each day you visit. If they are allowing AP holders to preview ToT, they will let you know.. We visited the week Cruch and Cars were opening and the CMs wouldn't tell us when AP holders could ride them, they just allowed press and CMs to ride. When we enquired at GR, we were told the exact dates and times for AP holders to ride. We rode about 6 times before the official opening, which was a Saturday, and was manic!

so when we go in January it should be open yeah? But not officially?????? Can we still go on it..sorry I'm confused:rotfl2:

Allowing people to ride new attractions before the official opening date are known as 'soft openings' - they tend to be completely unscheduled. I have had more experience with this in WDW.

The Stitch ride was opened for an hour or so on certain days before the ride was officially open - in our experience asking the CM who was standing right by the ride didn't gain any results, but managed to catch a soft opening one day just by walking by at the same time. Even though we were AP holders, in this case they opened the ride to everyone for a short time - the ride was due to open in November and we were there in October. A similiar thing happened when 'Soarin' opened in Epcot.

so basically tower of terrer isn't open til Aril????????
