Towels

Perhaps stupid question, but do all the resorts including DVC provide beach towels at the pools?

They actually did have towels at the Pop Century main pool when we visited in September. I was surprised because we had brought towels from our room the first time because I wasn't expecting any by the pool. According to touringplans sometimes they are there, sometimes they are not.
Now at moderates & deluxes you will definitely find towels at the pools.

BUT I wouldn't call them "beach" towels. When I think of a beach towel I think of a big towel.. these are small towels like found in the rooms.

And if your resort does not have towels at the pool (we always check it out before going to the pool to swim), just take your room towels and then go by the front desk and ask for replacements. We have called the housekeeping number on the phone and it's been hit and miss so we just do the front desk thing now. Or, *gasp*, use the towels from your pool visit for your cleanups.

In addition to Hippy Dippy at POP,Surfboard Bay and Grand Slam at All-Star Sports also now have Pool Towels.

The towels are usually thinner versions of the bath towels in your room or villa.
