Towels?

Okay, this is a strange question:

Do we need to take our own towels for the pool?

We are staying at the Contemporary (in just 10 more days!), and I bought some nice beach towels at Sam's Club to take along. DH insists that they will have towels for us to use at the pool and I do not need to bring them.

I believe all Deluxe resorts provide towels by the pool. If not you can take your room towels and call mousekeeping to replace them. Thats what we did at a value resort.

There are towels by the pool, we always grab 2-3 per person, since they are small. I would suggest not taking towels from home, as they take up ALOT of space. Be sure if you have kids though, to take goggles or balls or something to play with in the water. You can buy these at the resort, but they are expensive.

Along those same lines, what about Waterparks? I really want to conserve space and not take a bunch of towels, but is it acceptable to take hotel towels out for a day to one of the waterparks. Or is that pretty tacky?

Many people do take hotel towels to the Water Parks. We prefer to rent them there.

We always take beach towels from home since you really aren't supposed to take them from the resorts to the water parks. We drive so it isn't a problem for us to pack them.
