Towels-how long do you use the same one?

I use one towel for both my body and my hair!!! How come you need two?

i have to use a seperate towel for my hair, it's long and super thick so the towel that dries my hair is soaking wet when i'm through with it.
i use my towels twice then i'll use it again if we're going in the hot tub.

I use a new towel after each shower/bath, even though you are clean when you dry off the towel is now damp and to me that means a breading ground for bacteria.

This is true if they do not dry completely. I would never reuse a damp towel. Our dry quickly, since we have enough bars for them.

Do you change your hand towels after each use? Those can be damp the next time you use it. I always use the dry spot and change then daily and some times more often.

One use per towel then it goes in to the towel hamper. Hand towels are changed every night.

Once per towel, but they get hung up on the back of the bathroom door until laundry day. We don't put damp towels in the hampers.

I know your 'clean' when you get out of the shower, but rubbing your body, you've got to sloth off dead skin cells....yuck!....

Hand towels are changed every night before I go to bed.

I used to reuse a towel, but then I moved in with DH and he used a new towel each time. I couldn't understand it, but he refused to reuse a towel. He would rather drip dry than reuse a towel.

Now, I use a new towel each time too.

My general rule is that when the towel is stinky I change it. DW seems cool with this policy too.

We use towels about once or twice. Then I wash it.

Towels get tossed in the hamper after 2-3 showers.

I also use two towels--one for my hair and one for my body. The hair towel gets wrapped turban-style around my head while I try my body. If I didn't get my hair out of the way, it would just keep dripping down my shoulders and I'd never get dry!

We use towels for one week and washcloths once before washing them. With 6 people in our family, I already wash so much laundry as it is. I do enjoy a fresh towel every day when staying in a hotel, so I could certainly get used to it.

I do laundry on Wednesdays and Sundays. So we each have two clean towels per week. Hang them up after each shower/bath, never had a problem.

Twice tops. I used to use 2 towels, when living with mom, but now 1 towel as I am the one doing laundry.

They get stinky if you use them more than 2 times. And we have enough bars to hang them up.
