Towels for pool hopping and water parks

Hi all,
You can probably all tell from my question that I am a new DVC member.

We will be staying at BWV (our first stay as members) in Aug. We hope to go to water parks and maybe pool hop.

Can we take BW pool towels with us or do we get them at the resort we hop to?

Can we take BW pool towels to BB or TL?

Also, when we pool hop, do we show our DVC card or our room card?

As far as I know each individual pool and waterpark have their own supply of towels for their guests to use...Have fun!!!!

Actually,

My understanding is that the waterparks will rent you towels at $5 each. I would rather save $20 and bring them, if I can.

Does anyone know if I can do that?

You have to rent them from the waterparks. We bring ours from the hotel pool we're at and bring them back there.

You rent them at the waterparks, but it isn't anywhere near $5 each. I think it's more like $1 each, but you do have to put down a refundable deposit on top of that.

You are more than welcome to bring your own towels to the water parks too, if you'd prefer. For us, not having to haul four wet towels back to the villa was worth it.
