Towels at Vero Beach?

Are towels provided poolside at Vero and if so are you allowed to carry them onto the beach? Heading down this weekend and trying to save some packing space.

Disney's Vero Beach Resort Pool Towels

Disney's Vero Beach Resort has upgraded its pool towels with larger, plusher versions stocked in Vacation Homes. Each Vacation Home is equipped with the appropriate number of pool towels based on that Vacation Home's occupancy. Pool towels will not be available at poolside or the beach, except on a one-for-one exchange basis. Members and Guests may also exchange used pool towels for clean replacements by contacting Housekeeping for delivery to their Vacation Home, or during regularly scheduled housekeeping services.

Yes they are, and yes you are.

Per the above Member Website quote, you will not be able to just pickup towels at the pool or beach. They provide them in your villa, per number of guests.

There was such a problem with pool towels there, they have switched to this method of distributing them as part of your villa linens. You must leave them all in your room upon check out, or your account will be charged for them. They listed the price, I believe, in the room and they were pricey.

We planned on using the pool and beach the day we check out and then showering in the pool bathhouse.
Will we have towels available for the pool and beach?
Are there towels in the pool bathroom for the showers?

After you check out, just go to ebb & flows with your room card, explain you've checked out but wish to use the pool/beach, they will give you towels -if you don't return them prior to leaving..you'll be charged for them.

Shower towels are in your rooms, along with beach/pool towels.

You can take the towels to the beach and they are rather nice. I was thinking of packing our own last time and I'm glad I didn't.
