Towels at the Pool (Value Resorts)

last time we stayed at a Value Resort I don't think there were towels at the pool; has this changed?
If we need to take them from our room, how is the best way to get more for showering?

I usually stop at the front desk and pick some up or if I see a maid with a cart, I ask for some towels.

When I was at Sports this past August they had towels at the baseball pool. I was all prepared with my room towels but was very pleasantly surprised.

Currently the Surfboard Bay and Grand Slam pools at All-Star Sports and the Hippy Dippy pool at Pop Century have Pool Towels.

At Pop (bowling pin pool) we just used our room towels, and when we got back from swimming, pushed Housekeeping on the phone and asked for more. They brought a huge stack within 10 or 15 minutes.
