Towels at the Explorers Hotel ?

I assume there are towels in the room, but is it possible to hire towels at the pool as well ?

Jill,

You hire the towels from the lifeguard. If I remember correctly it was 1 euro.

Especially as it took until our 3rd trip before my DDs could drag themselves away from the parks long enough to go swimming!

I know exactly what you mean. Staying 6 full days last time I did think we'd get time to visit the pool at the NPB - on the one evening we planned to go, I popped to the hotel shop and when I got back to our room everyone else was asleep.
I assume the pool stays open until about 10.00, so if the park closes at 6.00 we are definately going to have some time to kill.

When we have been to the Explorers the pool closed at 9 with last admittance at 8.30

I was planning on getting back to the hotel 8.30 - 9.00 after a meal and a wander in the village, and then a swim before bed, I suppose we could do it the other way around.
The boys are really keen on the Explorers but deep down I think I'd rather be staying at the Cheyenne.

We are having the same debate at the moment. My two are 5 and 7 and love the Explorers because of the pirate playship and jungle ball room. I have to admit we get a bit of peace to enjoy a long earned drink BUT I really want to stay in a Disney Hotel but they wont hear of it.
