towel animal question. :)

i was just wondering, is there anything, other than leaving a bigger tip, a note, or keeping the room clean, that we can do for mousekeeping to receive a towel animal ?

Ask for one possibly? Since you are a kid maybe include pics of some and a note about how "magical" it would make your or your sisters' stay.

Doing all those things does not increase your chances of getting towel animals. The housekeepers can make them when they have the time, so don't be disappointed if you do not end up getting them.

I am not sure about POP but I know some of the resorts have a table where they show you how to make the towel animals and you get to keep them. I know the Poly had one back in 12/06 when we went there for dinner but not sure if they still do. You can always ask.

The Polynesian no longer has that, now they have an area by the BouTiki store where Cast Members are making Leis.

Ah, thanks. There was a table at the YC concierge back in June 2007. They made the cutest towel animals. My DS had made an elephant and was able to take it home with him. Came out pretty good if I do say myself. Sorry went off thread.

You're welcome and maybe the table you saw at the Polynesian was the Cast Members making the Leis and you got that confused and thought they were making the towel animals. Unless the towel animals were being made in another area of the Resort.

When I stayed at POP this past summer they had a table one of the mornings I was there that made towel animals. Also, when I was at POP, me and my roommate came back to our room after Animal Kingdom one day and found her bear in the window. Mousekeeping made the bear a swing out of the curtains on the windows and put the bear in the window. It was adorable. Sometimes they'll do it. I'll try and post some pics. It might help to get a magical moment like this if you and your sister leave a stuffed animal on your bed when you leave for the parks in the morning or whenever. Hope this helps.
