Was interested in trying the Segway tour at EPCOT one morning. Can anyone comment on this tour (good or bad)? Also, I have AAA. Can my AAA agent book this tour for me or do I need to do that (she booked my MYW package)? Is there any kind of discount using AAA?

The Around the World at Epcot Segway tour is FABULOUS!!!! We loved it! And I have never heard anyone say anything bad about it!

You have to book it early 'cause it fills up fast. There are two tours in the morning (one at 8:30 and one at 9:30) and there are only 10 people per tour. It might be easier for your TA to do it, but you can book it yourself.

You can get a AAA discout, I think it's 15%, or something like that. But it's even worth it at full price!

Do they charge your credit card right away or do they charge it on the day of the tour? As I would be doing this solo, would the CM take a picture of me on the segway facing Spaceship Earth?

Not sure when they charge. It was a gift from our friends.

However, the guides were more than happy to take as many pictures as we wanted- and we were a party of four!

I could be wrong, but I believe they charge the card immediately. You could ask when you call to be sure.

Hi,

My husband and I are booked to take this tour on the 26th of this month. They did charge the credit card when booked and they tell you that they are going to do that. There is a 24hr cancelation policy. I cannot comment on the picture taking we have not done the tour yet but it could not hurt to ask.
