Hi, Does anyone know what types of tours are offered onboard to learn more about the ships? Specifically the Fantasy or Dream. Thanks!

AFAIK, the only onboard tours available are for Platinum CC members. There is a "Get Aquainted" Tour the first day that take groups around the ship to familiarize people with the ship.

I believe is meets at Palo (well on the Magic it does). Check your Navigator for times.

This is not true. On our Wonder MR last year there was a tour that showed us all the art and detail that went into the design of the ship. It was free, open to anyone, and ran more than once.

Yes, that's the tour I was talking about. I checked my Navigator, and it's called "Walking Ship Tour".

Thanks. My 10 year old son is very interested in the details of the ship and keeps asking me if we can take a tour. He would love to see behind the stage. Does anyone know if that is part of the "walking the ship" tour?

No, the only theatre tour I've heard about is the one for the Platinum members :sad1:

On the 4-night Dream voyage in January, there was a "Welcome to the Ship" tour the first afternoon that was open to everyone. It walked through public areas around the ship. On later days, there were two tours for adults, "art of the Theme Ship" and "Building of the Dream" that were offered two times each. I did the first one, which took us into Palo, Remy, the adult lounges, and a few other places, but nothing "backstage." My husband did the one on building the Dream, which was similar. It is possible the longer cruises on the Fantasy will have more tours, but I haven't heard whether they do.

No tours offered to Platinum members on the Magic for the February 18th Western Caribbean.

We did the "Art of the Theme" tour on the Magic. It was available to everyone.

We had done that tour already however usually they offer special "backstage tours" for Platinum members such as an engine room, stage or bridge tour but we were told by Guest Services that they were no longer available.

My husband and I did a Galley tour on the Magic a few years ago - are they still available and if so would they might be on the Fantasy?

Thank you!

For our cruise it was called "The Art of the Theme" and was a completely different tour than a first-day get acquainted Walking Ship Tour. It was also offered many times during the week.
