We will be staying at Marriott and want to do a tour of Paris, an evening one and/or a daytime one. What tours leave from Disney and when and where do they leave from? Do they pick up at Marriott?
How much are they and is there a shareholder club discount?
How do you book?
Thanks

there is a tour by cityrama coach. they have a day one or a night one. we went last march on the day one. paid around 62euro per adult. they take u 2 level one of the eiffel tower, boat trip on river seinne, to see arc de triomphe/champ de elysee, notre damme etc.
the tour leaves from in front of hotel new york around 9ish am
we had booked ours at the concierge desk of our hotel when we arrived (we were staying at newport)
hope this helps

Where the coach leaves from? Should you go in to new York hotel to reach it?
I think in the brochure i saw that this year it is 67 EUR for adults and goes the 1st level only in Eifel.

Is it worth the money?

you have to go in front of hotel new york around 9ish, thats where the coaches come to pick up.
probably the price has gone up since last year.
yes only level 1 of eiffel tower, then if im not mistaken u can pay extra to go higher (not sure about this, i didnt even go to level one lol ie. im afraid of heights!)

well most people say it is worth the money, but if i were to go again i wouldnt id rather go by train and explore paris for a day as u dont have much time to go around by yourself etc...but then depends on the individual.
as it was my first time in paris we didnt have an idea of the place so we went for the tour as it was a safe option.

looking in the new brochure the price is £46 per adult and leaves from hotel new york at 09.45am , and returns around 6.30pm

we are going to buy the paris visite travel card - 314 for 1 day unlimited use of the ratp/ille de france transport

We did this, prebooked it with our Hotel/Dining Plan etc, so our tickets were in the little packet with all of our other Disney goodies on check in at the hotel.

We just went around Paris walking and seeing the sights. Had a great day until one of those beggers (women that hand you a card to read) spit on myself AND MY DS, for not giving her money. All I said was NO, but I did say it quite firmly as that was the 3rd time one of them had come up to us whilst we were there (waiting for the rest of the family to arrive). But the rest of the day was great, we had lunch, walked along the Champs Elysee back to CDG Etoille, where we hopped back on the RER straight back to Disneyland.

sounds good to me , i get annoyed at them women stopping and begging

i just seen i put 314 for 1 day travel i meant £14 lol

Well just walk off quickly when you see those begging women because we were sitting down at the Eiffel Tower when the third woman came up to us and thats when she spat on us (we were walking around with the other two came up to us). Spat on me first then on DS. We got up and hurried away.

Oh no, that's dreadful. :sad2: When we went to the Eiffel Tower a couple of years ago the soldiers kept moving them on but it's hard to avoid them completely.

On the train into Paris last summer someone sat near us took pity and gave a man a few coins ~ well, within seconds the bush telegraph had worked and there were several of them there with their hands out.
