Quick question - I understand that the crowds are rated 1-10, ten being the busiest you could encounter and 1 being the quietest. I'm looking to understand whether there's a difference between, say MK that's a 7 when resort-wide is 5 and MK that's a 7 when resort-wide is 7.

TIA :)

If MK is a 7 and resort wide is a 5, I interpret that as MK will be busier than the other parks.
If MK and resort wide are both a 7, I interpret that as MK will be just as busy as all of the other parks.

Just my thoughts!

Ok that’s cool - that’s how I interpreted it. I suppose what I was thinking is that if you were deciding which way to go out of the ones described, is Day 1 a better or worse choice than Day 2.

I wouldn't make park decisions based on 3rd party estimates of future crowds. I doubt their formula used in the past are valid until more of covid is behind us and things are back to normal. They mostly based their estimates on historical data which right now isn't a valid base to use. Disney has cut back on availability and has that new park reservation system in place that was never previously used. Prior to Disney starting the daily reservation thing, even they had no idea how many locals with AP's would decide to appear some day when the weather was good.
