I've been reading through guide books, looking at the touring plans. The unofficial guide had a two day plan, but I have more time then that, I was going to do Epcot three days, MK three days, MGM two days, and AK one day. :flower:

What should be the first attractions I do?

Depends on what you like but the most popular are-

EPCOT-- Soarin'

MK-- Space and Splash Mtn

MGM-- RNR and ToT

AK-- Safari

I got back this morning and these are the rides we hit first thing as there was a long wait and/or FP gone later in the day.

Thanks for reading the book, disneyfav4ever.

If you've got three days, one strategy would be to do a couple of each park's headliner attractions per morning. In the Magic Kingdom, for example, you could devote one morning to Tomorrowland, one to Fantasyland, and one to Frontierland.

In Epcot, Future World East and West are the two obvious break points, but you could devote one early morning to just the Land pavilion, starting with Soarin', then Living with the Land, then Circle of Life. You could also try the "Behind the Seeds" tour, which IMHO is very entertaining.

In the Studios, Sunset Boulevard and the Animation Courtyard/Mickey Avenue are decent ways to break the park up over two days.

Does that help?

Thanks again for reading the book.

Wow, I had no idea that the writers of the books posted here. :flower: I'm thinking about getting the park hopper pass so I can go from park to park. Also, I'm trying to figure out my PS schedule so it doesn't run into a bunch of park time.

Is going solo going to help me a lot at WDW as far as attractions go?

I already have AK figured out, since your book said that the four main ones are Dinousuar, Tough to Be a Bug, Kilamanjaro Safari, and River Rapids. But I know I can skip Dinosuar and the Bug show, since both terrify me.

Also, do you think it's smart to spend the whole day in one park? Or to spend the morning in one, and the afternoon in another?

Also would MNSSHP make me need less time at MK?

We had lots of time at MK, so the first morning we hit the headliners, on another morning we saw everything we wanted to see in Fantasyland, and on another we concentrated on Tomorrowland. It was nice to be able to concentrate on one land and not zig zag around the park, having gotten the "big" rides out of the way the first day.

You might want to take note of which attractions either go down a lot or don't run in the rain. We only got to ride Test Track at Epcot once, because everytime we went back it was down either due to weather, or other problems. On your first day at each park, if it is sunny, ride the rides that might close down (or be miserable) on a rainy day.

Everyone talks about the Florida summer afternoon rains. Remember that there are also fronts that bring in all day rains. Of the 10 days we were at WDW, it rained 6 of them. Three of the days it rained pretty heavily in the morning and then cleared up in the afternoon; one of the days it was sunny in the morning and then poured in the afternoon; on two of the days, it rained the whole darned day. Have a rainy day plan so you aren't stumped if you get up one morning and it's pouring. (AK is miserable in hard rain. There are almost no "inside" attractions. On the other hand, MK is quite do-able in the rain.)
