My wife and I are going to Disney around Halloween and taking the kids (6)(3) for the first time. We have been few times ourselves however first time with kids. After doing some reading we found a website that creates touring plans for different situations telling what to ride and what order to give you the least amount of wait time. They boast that there system is guarenteed to work. I was just wondering if anyone knows what I'm talking about and if they have ever used one and if so did it work?

Touring Plans .com is a great site for the types of plans you are talking about and yes they do work. The plans for kids always allow for an afternoon break, so they are real doable.

If you are going to be there during high crowd levels (for instace Jersey Week), following the plan to get your and your kids favorite attractions in before queues get backed up can make the day enjoyable. We find we follow the plan for the first half the day and play it by ear from there, but everyone is different.

I would offer one suggestion though, don't forget to stop and smell the Disney roses. You know those subtle things on Main Street or at various other Disney parks that aren't listed as "attractions" but are just as enjoyable. My 5 year old daughter still talks about how much she loved the trolly song and dancers on Main Street.

If you are talking about RideMax it is a wonderful program. We used it in Disneyland and we rarely waited more than 10 minutes for anything. I am planning to use it for our upcoming trip to the World as well.
