Touring plans/Lines app

How accurate is the Touring Plans/Lines app when predicting park hours? We are going 1/27-2/4 and trying to plan our days.

They will update you if they believe a change will happen. I'm using them for my December trip. While park hours haven't posted yet, Touring Plans did update their predictions this past week based on party schedules and such.

They make their best guess based on historical information but honestly nobody really knows until Disney publishes and then updates their hours.

Ditto was has been said above. To add on, we're going the same dates and it has been confirmed that the cast appreciation event is on Jan 29th at Magic Kingdom. TP has MK closing at 430 that day and that seems accurate based on previous years.

I’m glad the CM party is confirmed for that day. I went to EE at MK on CM party day last year and it was great- no crowds at all. I’m going those exact dates again too and planning on MK on 1/29.

They update quickly and will notify you if any of your days are impacted.

One aspect of the app which is quite useful is their projected wait times. Disney is pretty notorious for inflating wait times at attractions and the Touring Plans app gives a projected wait for every ride that we have found to be very accurate and helpful in making choices whether or not to get in a line.

So glad I saw this because I am going about the same days as you and this will likely change the day I do MK.

We are planning to be at Disney Jan 29 too. We have two MK days and REALLY want to see fireworks. But I've heard party days are super quiet and you can do a TON. With only 2 days at MK, would you still go on the party day? We don't qualify for EE but could do a 9 am RD.
