We are heading down to Disney April 11-19 and have planned to visit US and IOA. My son (6yrs old), husband and I are not thrill ride enthusiasts whatsoever. We recently got really into Harry Potter and love Despicable Me. What would you suggest as far as a touring plan? We definitely want to do Olivander's and check out the WW of HP (possibly do the Hippogriff ride), Seuss Landing, Minion Mayhem, and meet as many characters as possible. I've tried searching for touring plans with no luck :( Any help is greatly appreciated!!!
Also, are there photo packages like Disney does?

Im assuming that youre going for at least 1 day at each.

Both parks have several shows and non thrill rides.

This far out its kind of hard to predict showtimes, but I would probably start at 1 side of the park and work my way around.

For instance, if you get there at rope drop, starting at US, Id check Minion Mayhem, then Transformers. You can put Shrek in between the 2 or at the end. Shrek is across the street from MM, Transformers is around the corner.Twister you can put in at anypoint, as the wait time is usually less the 30 minutes. The other rides would be Disaaster, Men in Black, Simpsons, ET and Terminator, and they are all on the same side of the park. Simpsons has a few other rides in its area now, and youd have to decide if thats something for you. In order, youd go from Disaster, to MIB,to the Simpsons, to ET to Terminator.

The shows that are run there, in no particular order, would be Beetlejuice Graveyard Review, Fear Factor Live, Animal Actors and the Blues Brothers. Without knowing what there showtimes are, its kind of hard to say when to go to each.(The number and times of shows is based on park closing) A little closer and we can pin it down. At the moment, youd have to insert each show into the time that youll be in that area.

Not necessarily. Im at work and got sidetracked.Sorry.

Its 6 of 1 half dozen of the other. Either park, since you are limiting your experience will only take a few hours to get through, depending on how quick you want to move through them.

IOA is the larger of the 2 and US, on most nights will have a night show that is fireworks and moviie clips on big screens.

When you get in to IOA, heading to the right, just about everything in Seuss Landing should be fair game, next on the path is Poseidons Fury which is a walk through, then after that is the 8th voyage of Sinbad which is a show.
After Sinbad, is WWOHP, which has 2 different shows which are shown on the hour and half hour, which is the Tri Wizzard Spirit Rally, and the Frog Choir. Each is a few minutes long.
The Hippogriff ride is there also. You can also walk through the queue line of Forbidden Journey and not take the ride. Also, have some butterbeer. Its good.
Moving down the road, is Jurassic Park which has a scientific bldg in it, with some cool stuff to look at. (Raptor hatchings, etc)
Next down the road, is Toon Lagoon, which I honestly havent spent too much time in other then to walk through it. Then after that is Marvel Super Hero Island, where Spiderman ride is.

The characters in both parks are out on a regular basis.

I know that there is sometype of photo system but I honestly dont know much about it. Since we live local we usually take our own pics.

The only thing I would add to the above is that you should go thru the line for Dragon Challenge to see all the Harry Potter props (crashed Ford Anglia, Triwizard Tournament tent, etc.), then just take the chicken exit. Also, Camp Jurassic is cool to go thru.

Checking in June15. Do you all think I should go ahead and purchase the park to park due to the Hogwarts Express? Also, does anyone know how that works being I have already ordered 2-1 Day tickets?

April 2013- All Star Music

you can always upgrade the one day, one park ticket to a park to park ticket at guest services when you are there.
