Touring Plans Crowd Calendar

I booked my trip yesterday and this morning I received an email for Touring Plans updating their crowd calendar for this time period from a 3 to a 6. Is this something that will likely fluctuate in the next few months thus possibly returning to a 3 are these adjustments fairly concrete.

They fluctuate a lot

It's just an educated guess anyway, don't plan around their ratings (easyWDW is better, anyways).

When is your trip? The further away it is the more chance the numbers could change again. Did you read the blog post explaining the current changes?

I just got an email as well. They downgraded my week in late September from a 4 to a 3 with many parks at a 2! Weird.

I bet they've done that based on how small crowds have been so far this summer. While I hope that is a sign that it will continue on in to August and September I do wonder just how they can know that
And yes, I have read their blog posts and I rarely completely grasp their thought patterns
But, I don't track this stuff for a living and numbers make my brain ache

Feb 25th -March 10th. The majority of crowd calendars I consulted showed in being a time of low crowds.

That would seem to be in between Presidents Day week and the major start of Spring Break so it could be low(er) crowds!

Our kid usually has an earlier SB than a lot of schools and his starts on the 10th of March in 2018.

We did go spring break in 2016 and it didn't really feel all that crowded but that might be because we went to the recommended park for each day

If you want some kind of calendar, Touring Plans is the only one I have found.

I just got one for my april 2018 trip. I thought it was a little weird that this far out they are making/changing predictions. I guess all in all it is only an educated guess based on past history and events/holidays going on.

I can't comment on how accurate they are, although I looked at last year during my timeframe and they showed what they predicted and what was actual - they were pretty darn close.

But I got an email also for my trip in late October- crowds are predicted even lower (resort-wide)! I'll take it!

Kenny The Pirate does a fairly decent job at them. I more or less use his as my guideline now

Yeah, I'm old. I don't "get" twitter. How to read it, how to post to it, how to "follow" things. I've tried, really have. But it's just work so I gave up. But I do realize that I'm old and most folks do tweets just fine

I still don't think it's a regular monthly/regular thing for Josh any more

I hadn't actually clicked on the link via Twitter until just now - but he posted a blog on 6/26/17 that had embedded wait times....but I guess that's wait times and not a rating on the crowd.
