Jus got the update email with new crowd levels from Touring Plans. I was going by EasyWDW for my choices anyway, but I was really surprised by their crowd levels. I'm going 9/3 - 9/11 and I know Sept crowds have grown over the years, but they have Sunday, 9/4 an 8 and Monday, 9/5 a 6. Do those seem high? :crazy2:

If you read the email you received, these changes are based on overall wait time increases, possibly due to lower staffing and other cuts by Disney. So the system has been updated to reflect that.

Not to mention that with Free Dining in the fall, September attendance has increased

Attendance may be down overall this year, but the cuts in staff, and discounts for fall, have created longer wait times for lines and a change to the tracking system was needed to be accurate.

I tend to go with TP over Easy WDW for the simple fact that TP posts historical crowd levels and wait times and compares them to their predictions. You can see how close they actually can get. Easy WDW never mentions how close he got, or shows how wrong he was in predictions. (Not to mention that I've seen him on numerous forums being a real jerk to anyone that questions his methods)

I think both TP and EasyWDW are helpful for planning. Josh isn't being a jerk, he's being snarky -- there's a difference.

Thanks! I've been worried about how the staff cuts would effect wait times. Hopefully, it won't be too bad.

It's a holiday weekend, why is that surprising?
