Touring Plan - Will this work?

We are traveling to WDW in Jan. with a 7, 5, and 2 y/o. We plan on staying at POFQ.

I would like feedback from the seasoned WDW tourists about our game plan. My 7 y/o is a daredevil who loves to ride everything she can based on her height which will be at least 45 inches when we go.

Here is my plan:

Arrive Sat. around 12:00 p.m. Go to 'Ohana for dinner and then to MK for Spectro and Wishes.

Sunday - AK from 9-3 and then to Epcot for 6:00 dinner.

Monday - MGM from 9-4:30 (would like to see parade) and then dinner at hotel.

Tuesday - MK - hope to get early breakfast at Cindy's and then stay at park until 3:00. Go to dinner at Downtown Disney.

Wed. - MK from 9-5, then take monorail to Epcot for dinner.

Thurs. - AK from 9-3; Epcot from 5 until Illuminations is over. Eat dinner at Epcot.

Fri. - hope to get early Breakfast at Crystal Palace and then stay at park until 2:00 at which time we will leave and begin heading home.

My goal is to ride most of the rides and see most of the shows at each park. Will there be enough time to do this based on my plan? Thanks ahead of time for the input!

You will be missing out on the most unusual and audience participation parade if you don't stay at AK until 4 for their daily parade. Also the MGM parade has been at 5 pm for awhile and may be in January. You should be able to do the rides if you arrive early and utilize FP. The only problem you will have is that without a morning at EPCOT you may have trouble riding the big rides there.

I agree, you do need a morning at Epcot to do the big attractions at Future World.

You do not say if you will have a car on hand, or if you will be using WDW transportation. But I would make the following comments, if I may.

SATURDAY: Remember that you may not be able to check into your room at the French Quarter until 3:00. Keep that in mind when planning.

SUNDAY: Three hours might not be enough time to get from the Animal Kingdom to Epcot and walk to dinner, especially in the meal is planned for a World Showcase eatery. Unless, of course, you are driving and know your way driving around WDW.

Also, be sure to plan for the shows ahead of time, which will take some advance planning to hit show time. The same thing is true of MGM, where shows are most of the attraction, but show times can be a pain to work around.

MONDAY: Dinner at hotel? Keep in mind that the French Quarter has only a food court.

WEDNESDAY: Again, be sure to allow enough time to get to your meal reservation in Epcot.

In general, I would avoid as many moves from one location in WDW to another as possible because time can easily be wasted making such moves.

But, I hope y'all have a blast.

This is true for most people. Since I usually take the wrong road, or miss a turn here and there, it won't work for me.

But driving may well be the best option for y'all ... EXCEPT for when you go to the Magic Kingdom. You would be better off taking the bus to that park.
