We hope to be at AK at opening and go straight to EE, but then what?
Would you go to Kilamanjoro Safari or (I've read) that Dinoland is nearly empty till 10:45/11:00ish.If we get a FP (at opening) for EE what time do you think it will say to return ? :confused3

I can tell you that the FP will probably say at latest 10:15-11:15, probably much sooner. I went to AK on 5/1, got to EE about 9:30. Since this was an EMH for morning, I was really surprised that the FP return time was so soon. The stand-by line was only 20 minutes, which also surprised me.

I"d totally pay the $25 buck for Mike. It will answer all these questions and save you so much time!!!!

Go straight to EE, get a fast pass and then get in the standby line and ride. The wait will probably be fairly short. Depending on the return time on your fast pass, you will either be able to ride again right away, or go to Dinoland until your fast pass return time. :thumbsup2

When we went in April, we did it this way:
straight to EE, got on the first car and rode
FP after exiting - it was for 10am
walked to safari - had a 10-15 min. wait, rode it
walked through Jungle Trek for pictures to wait for FP time
10am rode EE with FP
Walked over to Dinosaur, 10-15min. wait, rode that
We were done before noon

Then, if you want to do some of the less popular attractions, you have plenty of time afterwards.

Ride EE and get a fast pass to ride again, then go to the safari ride. The animals will all hide as the day warms up, so I would not wait. Then walk through and see the gorillas -- can't recall what it is called but this walking path is right next to the safari trek and they have lots of gorillas who will hide later. Go back and ride EE again with your fast pass and then go and ride dinosaur.

We just got back and this is what worked for us.

I'm going to do the safari. Time and crowd wise, it would be better to head to Kali and Dinoland ahead of the crowds, but the Animals are usually out early in the Safari and rather not out as the day warms up. I was planning on not fastpassing Everest in case it was needed for the Safari. Sometimes if the safari is about 20 minutes and the fastpass return time about 30, I'll duck onto that trail before the crowds hit off the safari and use my fastpass for the safari when we're done with that. But if Everest is such a blast we want to do that again, I'm going to fastpass that one instead.

I have 10:30am ADR for the bk-fast if i arrive for park opening at 9am, will i be able to go on the Safari and dinasor ride before eating you think? how long is the Safari ride??
