Hello! I am a huge Star Wars fan and will be visiting HS on a Monday in late August (crowd calendar says it's the best day to go, and it has a crowd level of 5). I was just wondering how I should tour as a Star Wars fan! The last time I was at HS, it was Frozen mania, so this is quite a breath of fresh air.

I want to trade with the Jawas, interact with the Stormtroopers and see their march with Phasma, meet Chewbacca, and meet Kylo Ren (I have a Chase Disney card so that should be a short wait). I might want to do these activities more than once... I'm planning to wear a Star Wars t-shirt and possibly wear my hair in Rey's three buns - I feel like that might get a reaction from characters.

Obviously, there are other things in the park that I want to do, too, but I definitely want to do the activities listed above. How early in the morning (9 am opening day) would you suggest going to meet Chewbacca and doing the other activities? My plan right now is to go straight to TSMM and then Rockin' Roller Coaster. Should Star Wars be right afterward or do I not really need to worry so much?

there's ton of info on the thread in my signature. The Mods have asked to try and keep everything SW in that thread. Ask your questions and comments there and we'll be happy to help

Kate... We just got back. We are also huge SW fans... We had a blast all day long with all the SW stuff at HS. Only thing we had a FP for was the Star Wars ride. In Launch Bay, Chewy had the longer line, but not too long. We saw both characters. Kylo stays in character and so that can be an interesting interaction if you do as my son in law did and ask him how it felt to be beat by a girl who just discovered she had the force. Trading with Jawas was most fun. They love shiny, glowy things. Maybe those cheap glow bracelets from dollar store. I found a rubber ball that glowed when it bounced. Don't expect to really get much back, but the value is in the transaction. Throughout the day, you'll see storm troopers walking around. That can be fun if you tell them someone in your party is sympathetic to the rebel alliance. A little interrogation can take place. The Jedi training academy is still super fun to watch, even if you don't have anyone you know in there. It's a better show than the ones on the main stage in my opinion. Cap it all off with the Star Wars fireworks. Stake out a place in the central hub to see everything.
