Touring Guide Mike cannot find me after paying???

I signed up and paid for touring guide mike's service. I received my email and payment confirmation to my registered email address. I have also been on thier site and printed some touring plans. I tried to log in today and they cannot find me. I contacted them to please resend my information and they cannot locate me in their system. I feel ripped off. How is this possible? I even sent them a copy of my payment confirmation email and they still cannot locate me. I refuse to pay for this service again. What do I do?

I would ask him to make his service available to you or credit you what I paid. If that fails call your credit card company and dispute the charges. Good luck when I had a membership there were times I never even got a reply back to me.

Be sure you are typing in your user name and password exactly as you entered it. ie on the AAA website I misspelled my use name when I signed up so now when I log in I always have to remember to misspell it again otherwise it doesn't let me in.

Since you have sent your receipt in you can do a few things
1. ask them to reactivate your account since they can see that you paid for the service
2. Ask for a refund again if you have the reciept as proof of paying and they cannot reactivate your account so you can log in then they should be able to do this.
3. If you do not the refund as asked for you could file a complaint with your CC company.

All that being said I have used TGM several times and though the site has its pitfalls the best days have always served us well.

My subscription expired and I haven't re subbed yet but I am sure there is some one here if you pass on the info to (no cc info of course or pass words) they may be able to post on the forums there and get someone to contact you again.
 
I would contact them again - Mon-Fri, I don't think they respond to emails on weekends. I've used them for 5 years and never had an issue. Perhaps it's just a misunderstanding or typo with your username or password?
 

Not sure what you mean by "printed some touring plans". It's not that kind of site. Are you sure it wasn't Touringplans.com instead? There is lots of info on TGM site about how to tour, so much so that most people aren't sure what to print out. That is a frequently asked question on the message boards there.

The last time I used TGM he did have touring plans you could print. They were pretty generic and broken down if you have a young child, tween, teen or adults.
